Each session is as unique as the woman.You aren't just a client, you're the star of your own story. Meet Your Photographer
I'm Amanda, the owner and operator of Paper Moon Photography. Photography has been a beautiful extension of my lifelong dream to be a storyteller. Every click of the camera allows me to capture stories, emotions, and the unique essence of my subjects. My interest in boudoir began after my own session. With that experience, I found the confident girl I used to be. I also had a newfound longing to give that same experience to other women and tell their stories. I want to help women fall in love and honor their beautiful bodies as they are right now. A little about me: I love live music, eating great food, dirty martinis, reading, dogs, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. I've lived in the metro Atlanta area for over 20 years where I share a home with my husband, our teenage daughter, and our Goldendoodle, Millie. We already have the art (you!), now let's create some magic and celebrate the smoke-show that you are!
What is Boudoir?
The word "boudoir" comes from the French word for a woman's dressing room. Boudoir is a style of photography that features intimate, sensual, or romantic images of subjects in a private setting, such as a bedroom, dressing room, or studio. My goal is to help each woman embrace and celebrate her individuality, unique strength, and beauty and capture the true "you".
Why consider a session? While boudoir images can be an amazing gift for your partner, I believe that the modern boudoir EXPERIENCE is a sublime way to celebrate yourself - to see yourself in a different light, with your beauty and essence amplified without the distraction of clothing.
Does this mean you have to be nude or wear lingerie? Absolutely not! Cozy sweaters, tank tops, slinky gowns, and even sports jerseys make for beautiful, intimate images.
If you want to wear lingerie, wear it! Want to wear only a sheet? I have plenty! Want to go nude? Go for it! If you are lost on what to wear, never fret! I will guide you along the way, starting with your initial consultation. Remember, we will tell your version of sexy and strong - no need to play dress up (unless you want to)!

What's in a Name...
The crescent moon, with its soft curves and glowing light, has long been a symbol of feminine power and mystery. It represents growth, transformation, and the ever-changing cycles of life. At Paper Moon, we use this timeless symbol as a reminder of the resilience and grace that all women possess. We also draw inspiration from the nostalgic history of the 'paper moon' photo prop, popular in the early 20th century. This whimsical prop allowed people to capture a moment of fantasy and wonder, much like the transformative experience of our boudoir photography. Our studio celebrates the strength, grace, and unique journey of every woman and we preserve these moments in a way as timeless as the moon itself.
